Soft Pretzel Ice Cream Sandwich
Description
These easy-to-make soft pretzels are salty and sweet, the perfect complement to the richness of Alden’s Organic Mint Chip ice cream.

- 1 cup water
- ½ cup unsalted butter (cut into pieces)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
- 3 eggs
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- 1 Sqround (48oz) Alden’s Organic Mint Chip
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F
- Line two baking pans with parchment paper and set aside
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine water, butter, sugar, and honey and bring to a boil
- Remove saucepan from heat and stir in flour until sticky paste forms
- Stir in eggs, one at a time, until well combined
- Transfer mixture to a piping bag with a round piping tip, or transfer to a zip lock back and snip the end to create an opening
- Pipe 8 pretzels into pretzel shapes on each set of parchment paper – 16 pretzels total
- Using a pastry brush, lightly coat with melted butter or egg wash, then generously top with pretzel salt
- Bake for 27-30 minutes, rotating pans halfway through
- Remove from oven when golden brown and allow to cool completely
- Place a large scoop of Alden’s Organic Mint Chip between two soft pretzels and enjoy!
